Sheena Garg is currently serving as Vice President at Swiss Re since July 2015, where the role involves leading Data and Analytics efforts to enhance data assets and insights for underwriting and risk professionals. Previously, Sheena held the position of Assistant Vice President in the Cat Perils R&D and Tools team at Swiss Re, focusing on the development and maintenance of a global natural catastrophe risk assessment framework. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead for Model Implementation & Analytics at Risk Management Solutions, and as a Catastrophe Risk Engineer at the U.S. Geological Survey. Earlier roles also include a Modeler Intern and Research Trainee during a Master's program at Stanford University, and a Software Engineer at Infosys. Sheena holds a Master's degree in Environmental Fluid Mechanics & Hydrology from Stanford University and a B.Tech in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
