Lionel Chocron serves as the Chief Product Officer at Hashgraph since 2022, focusing on advancing the Hedera network and developing open-source components for industry solutions. Previously, Lionel held the same title at Hedera from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Lionel was the Vice President of Industry and Emerging Technology at Oracle from 2015 to 2019, where responsibilities included designing and launching emerging technology cloud solutions. Lionel's experience also includes serving as Vice President & General Manager at Cisco, where efforts were directed towards developing the IoT business, along with strategic roles at A.T. Kearney and Bain & Company. Early in Lionel's career, leadership as Equity Derivatives Quantitative Manager at BNP Paribas involved innovative research in global equity derivatives markets. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Engineering from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Ecole des Mines.
