Christopher Friend has a diverse work experience in public affairs and government relations. Christopher currently serves as the Public Relations and Government Affairs Director at Swire Coca-Cola, where they manage policy and government affairs, as well as media inquiries and industry representation. Prior to this, Christopher worked as the Government Relations Director at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, leading public affairs campaigns and fundraising efforts. Christopher also served as a Grassroots Manager at the same organization, executing direct lobbying and advocacy programs. Additionally, Christopher has experience as a Political Organizer at SEIU Local 925, a Legislative Fellow at Fuse Washington, and a Field Organizer at Organizing for America. Christopher began their career as a Constituent Services Representative at Kitsap County.

Christopher Friend completed their Associates degree in Political Science from Tacoma Community College from 2008 to 2010. Christopher then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and European Governments at Gonzaga University from 2010 to 2012.
