Crystal Alkais, CPA, serves as the Accounting Manager at Swimply since March 2022, overseeing comprehensive accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Prior to this role, Crystal was an Assistant Vice President in Compensation Accounting at Jefferies, managing substantial annual compensation expenses and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Crystal’s career also includes significant experience as a Forensic Accountant at CMM, LLP, where investigative skills were demonstrated in complex financial cases related to family law. Earlier roles included financial responsibilities at Inteladerm and eeCPA plc, where expertise in month-end closes and tax accounting was developed. Crystal holds a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington State University and a BS in Retailing & Consumer Sciences from the University of Arizona.
