Waqas Ahmad is an experienced telecommunications engineer specializing in RF design and optimization. Since April 2015, Waqas has held the position of RF Post Processing and Network Telecommunications Engineer at Swedtel AB. Concurrently, Waqas has been involved with China Saudi Communication as an RF Analyzer for the Huawei STC Project in the East Region since January 2013, and with Samsung in RF Analysis for WiMAX and LTE since February 2012. Waqas also contributes as an RF DT Coordinator at igtl and has held a similar role at Mobikom Telecommunications Ltd. since February 2009. Key responsibilities include leading RF design and optimization activities for WiMAX and LTE, performing propagation analysis, site candidate evaluation, and generating RF design reports. Waqas also provides training support and responds to regulatory queries related to RF issues. Waqas holds a Diploma in Telecommunication from the University of the Punjab, earned between 2012 and 2014.
