Richard Hilton is an experienced leader in the geospatial and space sectors, currently serving as CEO and Co-Founder of GlobalTrust Ltd since November 2020 and as Head of Geospatial Services at Swedish Space Corporation since May 2022. Previously, Richard held various leadership roles at Satellite Applications Catapult from June 2013 to November 2020, including Director of Explore Markets and Head of Technology Solutions. Prior experience at Astrium Geo-Information Services from February 2003 to June 2013 involved business development and consultancy in space services. Richard's academic credentials include a PhD in Non-Ocean Radar Altimetry from De Montfort University, an MSc in Earth Observation Science from the University of Leicester, and a BSc in Chemistry from the same institution. Notably, Richard has played a pivotal role in the conceptualization and development of the Climate and Environmental Monitoring from Space (CEMS) program.
