Leila Nielsen has extensive experience in the field of migration and refugee resettlement, currently serving as a Specialist at Migrationsverket since September 2013. In this role, Leila has taken on significant responsibilities as Project Manager for the EU-FRANK project, aiming to enhance the capacity of Member States in resettlement efforts, and has also worked as Project Coordinator and Administrative Officer on various initiatives, including a Twinning Project focused on strengthening migration management in Armenia. Prior to this, Leila completed an internship at the Division for European and International Cooperation and gained research experience as a Research Assistant Intern at Intervict Tilburg Law School. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International and European Public Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law in Europe from Tilburg University, alongside a minor in Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
