Karin Mo is an experienced professional in the field of migration and development, currently serving as Head of Unit for AMIF at the Swedish Migration Agency since July 2023. Previously, Karin held several positions within the same agency, including Acting Head of Unit and Project Coordinator, accumulating significant expertise from October 2016 to December 2022. Karin's career also includes experience as a trainee with We Effect in Zimbabwe and as a Project Assistant and Trainee at InDevelop. In addition, Karin worked as a Project Manager at Södermanlands Nerikes Akademi, focusing on networking between current students and alumni. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Rights and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies with a subsidiary in Peace and Conflict Studies, both from Uppsala University, and a foundational education from Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket.
