Catarina Olsson has extensive experience in social work and administration, serving as Enhetschef at Migrationsverket since November 2018. Prior to this role, Catarina worked at Vårljus for over eleven years, initially as Enhetschef and later as Verksamhetschef, focusing on unaccompanied minors. From December 2000 to June 2007, Catarina served as Handläggare and samordnare at Migrationsverket, primarily assisting unaccompanied children and families with special needs. Catarina's career began in the late 1980s with positions in Järfälla kommun and Stockholms stad as a Flyktingsocialsekreterare and social worker, and Catarina also held various roles related to swimming instruction and lifeguarding from 1976 to 1986. Catarina holds a Socionomexamen from Stockholm University and completed training in cognitive behavioral therapy at The Swedish Institute for CBT & Schema Therapy.
