Christian Edström has extensive experience in the banking and IT sectors, currently serving as Chief Product Owner (CPO) for Development Platforms at Swedbank since May 2006. In this role, Christian leads teams focused on cloud-native microservices and container platforms. Previous roles at Swedbank include CPO for Cloud & Enabling Platforms, performance management, and IT management advisory for establishing a competence center in Vilnius. Christian has also held positions in sourcing, offshore liaison, and IT architecture, with early career experience as a software developer in Java and COBOL. Christian holds a degree in Computer Science from Stockholm University.
