Hillary Skowronski has a diverse range of experience in environmental consulting, water resource management, scientific research, and teaching. Hillary is currently working as a Staff Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Water Resource Representative at the Northwest Florida Water Management District from February 2021 to March 2022. From August 2018 to January 2021, Hillary served as an Environmental Scientist at the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute. Earlier in their career, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where they conducted aquatic toxicology experiments and maintained cultures of fish and amphibians. Hillary also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of West Florida from January 2015 to August 2016.
Hillary Skowronski earned a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Waynesburg University from 2009 to 2013. Hillary later pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Biology at the University of West Florida from 2015 to 2016.
