Mark Huisman is an experienced urban designer with a strong background in architecture and urban planning. Currently serving as a Stedebouwkundige at SVP Architectuur en Stedenbouw since April 2022, Mark has also been a freelance designer since March 2013, specializing in web design, graphic design, and urban design, with a focus on 3D visualization. Previous roles include urban designer positions at several municipalities, such as Gemeente Almere, Gemeente Arnhem, and Gemeente Utrecht, where Mark contributed to significant projects like the Floriade and the redevelopment of Utrecht Central Station. Additionally, Mark has served as a board member for the Dutch Association for Urban Designers and Planners. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design and Planning from Eindhoven University of Technology.
