Alison Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in crewing and training within the maritime sector. Currently serving as Global Head of Learning at Svitzer since July 2011, Alison has held various roles including Head of Training/Crewing for Europe and Crewing Manager for the UK. Alison's background also includes significant positions at Maersk Supply Service and A.P. Moller - Maersk, where responsibilities ranged from Crewing Manager to Senior Personnel Officer, with key contributions to the transfer of crewing management between geographic locations. In addition to these roles, Alison is an active member of the British Tugowners Association and the Maritime Skills Alliance. Educational qualifications include degrees in European Business from KEDGE Business School and the University of Portsmouth, complemented by various maritime certifications and professional development courses.
