Aiko Yonamine has a diverse work experience. Aiko began their career in 2009 as a Committee and Board Member, Speaker, Emcee, Producer, Community Manager, Advisor, and Strategist at PechaKucha. In 2018, they became an Author of the book "Ramen Girl Don't Hesitate," which was inspired by a girl who was told they are the biggest "queen of hesitating." From 2011 to 2019, they worked at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in various roles, including Instructional and Learning Experience Designer, Staff Training & Development Coordinator, and Interim Associate Director of Diversity & Inclusion. In 2019, they became a Community Leader, Headspace Champion, and Diversity & Inclusion Champion at Starbucks. Most recently, in 2022, they joined SVEN (Silicon Valley Executive Network) as a Project Lead and Community & Engagement Manager.
Aiko Yonamine has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Aiko also has post-baccalaureate, pre-medicine experience from The Ohio State University.
