Lars R. Aamodt is a Principal Exploration Geoscientist at Sval Energi, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Lars served as a Senior Geologist at Spirit Energy from December 2017 to June 2022 and at Centrica Energi from September 2011 to December 2017. Before these roles, Lars worked as a Project Coordinator at Det norske oljeselskap and as an Explorationist at Aker Exploration AS. Lars began the career as an Overgeolog and Geolog at Statoil, where the tenure lasted from September 1997 to March 2008. Lars holds a Cand.scient degree in Structural Geology from the University of Bergen, completed between 1994 and 1997, and an Ingeniør degree in Marine Technology from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, obtained from 1989 to 1992.
