Ivan Geurts is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in offshore project management and client representation, currently serving as the SURF lead at Sval Energi since June 2022, following the acquisition of Spirit Energy Norway. Prior to this role, Ivan worked at Spirit Energy where responsibilities included overseeing the tie back from Fogelberg to Ã…sgard B, in collaboration with various partners. Ivan's background includes positions at Nexans as an Offshore Client Rep, at Aker BP ASA as Lead Engineer for Offshore Decommissioning, and at Talisman Energy as a Senior Project Engineer focusing on platform removal operations. Educational credentials include an MSc in Civil Engineering with a focus on Steel Structures and Offshore Technology, and a Certificate in Marine Geotechnics from Delft University of Technology.
