Robert Espland is an experienced tax professional with a career spanning over four decades in various roles within prominent accounting firms. Currently serving as a Tax Manager at SVA since July 2013, Robert specializes in tax consulting, research, and return preparation for small to middle-market businesses and high-net-worth clients. Prior positions include Tax Manager at Schenck SC and Senior Tax Manager roles at Wipfli LLP and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, where responsibilities ranged from supervising tax return preparation to participating in marketing and client presentations. Robert began the career at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Tax Accountant and subsequently held a Tax Supervisor position at Deloitte before advancing to Tax Director at Feld, Schumacher & Company, LLP. Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Lubar College of Business, obtained between 1973 and 1978.
