Norman Mack is the Chief of Staff at SV Academy. Norman has been with the company since September 2020 and in their current role since May 2021. Prior to their current role, they were the Program Operations & Special Projects Manager from September 2018 to September 2020.

Norman Mack is a communications coach who has coached over 50 students as professional communicators for Sales Development, currently in full-time roles in the tech industry. Norman was responsible for evaluating the weekly assignments of 200+ students within a twelve-week program structure; coursework focuses on sales methodologies, supplemented by a tech internship.

Norman Mack provided feedback to each student and assessed student progress laterally during weekly consultations with the SVA teacher and coach. Norman delivered qualitative and quantitative feedback to each student on a scale out of 7, structured according to coherence/logic, grammar/spelling, making connections, and persuasive verbal communication. Norman reinforced program pillars with qualitative feedback, including growth mindset, emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and human-centred selling.

Norman also contributed to student assessment criteria, refining quantitative and qualitative tracking metrics. Norman crafted weekly diagnostic reports for team meetings and updated the fellowship educational platform Canvas with quantitative and qualitative findings for student reports.

Norman Mack has a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Alberta as well as Bachelor's Degrees in both English and Actuarial Science from the University of Calgary.
