Phillip Yu serves as the Chief Medical Executive at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento since May 2014, focusing on enhancing collaboration between administrative leadership and medical staff to improve performance in quality, access, safety, and physician satisfaction. Previously, Phillip held roles such as Hospital Administrator at Memorial Hospital Los Banos and Chief Medical Executive at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, where achievements included a 5-star CMS rating and recognition as a Top 100 hospital. With extensive clinical experience as a family medicine physician, Phillip also contributed to the governance of health organizations, including serving as Chairperson of the Tracy Community Hospital Foundation. Academic credentials include an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University and an M.D. from Brown Medical School, among other qualifications.
