Miao Wen currently serves as Director at Sutro Biopharma, Inc., overseeing the protein science team and managing protein production and analytics for multiple drug discovery programs. With a background that includes roles as Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at the same company, Miao Wen has demonstrated expertise in protein expression, characterization, and conjugation development, significantly contributing to IND enabling studies and therapeutic protein production. Prior experience includes a position as a Scientist at Solazyme, Inc., focusing on quantitative analysis of fatty acids and method development, and roles at UC Berkeley where Miao Wen conducted research in microbial metabolic networks and biofuel production optimization. Miao Wen earned a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of British Columbia and an MS in Chemistry from Lanzhou University.
