Dorothy "Dot" Garcia currently serves as an Accounting Associate at Sutherland since January 2017. Prior to this role, Dorothy accumulated over 26 years of experience at Ametek Chandler Engineering, where titles included Buyer/Planner, Jr. Production Planner/Scheduler, and Electronic Technician. In the capacity of Buyer/Planner, responsibilities included sourcing, analyzing vendor quotes, negotiating purchases, and adhering to ISO processes while managing MRP and Kanban requirements. As a Jr. Production Planner/Scheduler, duties involved scheduling and expediting material movement to support various departments. Dorothy holds a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation from APICS and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Education Center in Phoenix, AZ.
