Michael Aitken has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael most recently worked at Sustainalytics in the role of Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships & Indexes. Before that, they were a Principal Consultant at Anthesis Group, specializing in Sustainability & ESG Strategy. Michael spent a significant portion of their career at Sustainalytics, where they held various positions including Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Indexes, Senior Associate, Associate, Advisor, and Intern. Prior to Sustainalytics, they worked as a Business Analyst at Stratos Inc. and as a Sustainability Analyst at Stantec. Michael also pursued an MBA at Dalhousie University, completing the program in 2014. Overall, Michael has a strong background in sustainability, ESG strategy, and strategic partnerships.

Michael Aitken completed their Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Geography and a minor in Political Science at the University of Ottawa from 2008 to 2012. Michael then pursued a Corporate Residency MBA at Dalhousie University from 2012 to 2014.
