Julia Groves serves as the Board Chair at Airex Technologies and a Strategic Advisor at Engine B since November 2023. Julia is also an Impact Investment Committee member at Nesta since February 2022, advising on investment approvals and portfolio management. Previously, Julia held the position of Managing Director of Sustainability at the British Business Bank from April 2022 to November 2023, leading the development of a net zero transition program. As a Partner and ESG Lead at Downing LLP from March 2016 to March 2021, Julia directed the firm's transition to Responsible Investment. Additionally, Julia was the Founding Chair of the UK Crowdfunding Association and a Director at Trillion Fund, focusing on renewable energy projects. Julia's earlier roles also include Non-Executive Director positions at Move Your Money and Loco2, along with serving as Commercial Director at Engensa. Julia holds an MBA from Nottingham University Business School and a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Leeds.
