At GXT Green, they were the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development. Edward was responsible for establishing the initial market presence of a start-up offering disruptive, economically viable, sustainable products that replace plastic. Edward led marketing, business development, product management, and channel relationship development for sales, marketing, sourcing, public education, and lead generation. Some of their key achievements include Over 3 billion ECOgrade bags are currently in worldwide use, grew $51M order pipeline for ECOgrade photodegradable bags, cultivated and managed strategic relationships with government entities and marketing, product distribution, and manufacturing partners, won eight international and regional awards for innovative technology and marketing, and was instrumental to successfully raising $4M+ in investment funding.
Edward Weisberg has a Master’s of Science Degree from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a triple concentration in information systems, marketing, and organizational development. Edward also has a Bachelor’s Degree in social psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Edward Weisberg is certified by HubSpot Academy in HubSpot Inbound Sales.
