Martyn Gilbert is an experienced energy management professional with a robust background in energy reduction and carbon management strategies. Currently serving as the Executive Energy Manager at British Independent Utilities since November 2008, Martyn conducts energy reduction surveys and develops Carbon Management strategies for customers aimed at improving energy consumption. Previously, Martyn held the position of Energy Manager and C+I Account Manager at Siemens Metering, where management of major accounts and client relationship development were key responsibilities. Additionally, Martyn served as Energy Bureau Manager at National Grid - Datum Solutions and as Energy Development Manager at The Boots Company, focusing on energy management initiatives and regulatory assessments. Martyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from the Open University.
