Douglas Webb has worked in the software engineering field for over twenty years. Douglas'scareer began in 1996 when they were a Senior Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer. Douglas then moved to Ovid Technologies / Wolters Kluwer Health where they held the same role for two years. In 2010, they were promoted to Lead Architect at Experian CheetahMail. In 2011, Douglas began working as a Senior Software Developer at Surround Technologies LLC. Most recently, in 2017, they became a Freelance Software Engineer at Webb Industries, where they work on websites and back-office systems.

Douglas Webb attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
