Julie Chippendale has extensive experience in social work and senior care, currently serving as a Home Care Social Worker and Home Care Community Liaison at Surrey Services for Seniors since July 2011. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Bereavement Coordinator at Care Alternatives Hospice from May 2009 to September 2010, where responsibilities included providing after-care for hospice families, facilitating bereavement groups, and organizing memorial services. As a co-owner of Seniors on the Move, Inc. from April 2005 to March 2009, Julie managed all aspects of a senior move management business that aided seniors with downsizing. Julie's career began at Family Services of Montgomery County, where the Project HEARTH Coordinator role involved developing in-home counseling services for elderly individuals, expanding the program to serve 120 elders by 2003. Julie obtained a Master of Social Services degree from Bryn Mawr College between 1991 and 1993.
