Virgil Hill is an experienced educational leader and sports administrator, currently serving as Vice Principal at Surrey Schools (School District #36 Surrey) since September 2024. Previously, Virgil held the position of Director of Athletics and Head of the Physical Education Department at Fraser Academy from May 2017 to June 2024. An accomplished basketball coach, Virgil was Head Coach for Men's Basketball at Simon Fraser University and Laurentian University, where significant accomplishments included recruiting top talent and achieving notable fundraising results. Virgil's extensive teaching background includes roles at Collingwood School and a strong focus on mathematics and strength conditioning, with a remarkable coaching record in basketball. Virgil holds multiple degrees and certificates, including a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Grace College & Seminary and certificates in Executive Leadership and Performance Leadership from Cornell University.
