Jasmin Ring is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher on Call with Surrey Schools since May 2017, where responsibilities include teaching various high school subjects such as Social Studies, English, Band, and Learner Support. Jasmin has also contributed as a Teacher-Monitor for Encounters with Canada, acted as an Election Official with Elections BC, and participated in the Centre Juno Beach Summer Institute, focusing on Canadian military history. Previously, Jasmin transcribed historical content for The Confederation Debates and tutored students through the Friends of Simon program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Imaginative Education and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from Simon Fraser University, along with a Bachelor's degree in History and World Literature and a Teaching English as a Second Language Certificate from Douglas College.
