Eleni Maria Stea is a skilled software developer with extensive experience in graphics programming and research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Surgical Science since December 2021, Eleni focuses on R&D for HelpMeSee, an eye surgery simulator for medical training. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Graphics Programmer at Igalia, contributing to Mesa3D drivers and driver debugging tools, and a Software Engineer position at Canonical Ltd., where Eleni worked on various components of the Ubuntu desktop environment. Eleni's background also includes research assistant experience at the Information Technologies Institute, academic contributions at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a project with the European Space Agency. Eleni holds a Master of Science in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
