Michael J. Finney is a Design Engineer at Surface Transforms Plc, where responsibilities include leading design initiatives and overseeing the CAD environment since October 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Deputy Team Leader for the University of Liverpool Motorsport team, managing design processes and contributing to the development of composite bodywork and chassis concepts for competition vehicles. An internship with Surface Transforms Plc provided exposure to automotive design and development in a certified environment, while a short course at Jaguar Land Rover focused on lean manufacturing principles. Michael holds an Integrated Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool and has foundational education from South Holderness Technology College.
