Walker Arp began their work experience in 2018 as an Access to Rural Health Opportunities Intern at Central Missouri Community Action. In the same year, they joined UnitedHealth Group as a Licensing Analyst before transitioning to the role of Product Analyst in November 2018. Walker stayed with UnitedHealth Group until 2022. Currently, Walker Arp is working as a Product Analyst at Surescripts.

Walker Arp attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General. In 2017, they participated in the DIS Study Abroad program in Scandinavia, focusing on Translational Medicine. Prior to their university studies, Walker Arp completed their high school education at Minneapolis South Highschool from 2010 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Walker Arp obtained several certifications, including Design and Foundations from Pragmatic Institute in December 2022 and October 2022, respectively. Walker also obtained certifications in Scrum: The Basics, UX Design: 2 Analyzing User Data, UX Design: 3 Creating Personas, UX Design: 4 Ideation, UX Design: 7 Implementation Planning, and UX Research Methods: Interviewing from LinkedIn in October 2022.
