Nia M. Jenkins, CIPP/US, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies.
Starting in 2006, Nia worked as a Corporate Associate at WilmerHale, where they advised Fortune 500 companies in various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and debt and stock financing.
In 2010, Nia joined Bayer as a Contracts and Corporate Governance professional, where they drafted and negotiated various technology agreements and commercial contracts while advising business clients on the legal risks associated with these contracts.
Moving on to the American Red Cross in 2011, Nia served as Counsel, Technology, providing legal advice to the information technology, information security, and telecommunications departments. Nia M. also negotiated and drafted a wide range of technology agreements and provided advice on intellectual property and data protection matters.
From 2014 to 2018, Nia worked as a Senior Counsel at Advisory Board, collaborating with corporate finance and new product development teams on strategic transactions, licensing deals, and partnerships in the higher education and healthcare sectors. Joining Optum in 2018, Nia held the role of Senior Associate General Counsel and later Associate General Counsel.
