Jillian Alfred is the Head of Flight Controls, Actuation, and Utility Systems at Supernal since May 2020, previously serving as Head of Flight Controls. Prior to Supernal, Jillian held various positions at Bell Flight from December 2012 to May 2020, including Supervisor of Flight Controls and Supervisor of Handling Qualities, with a focus on 525 Control Laws and Redundancy Management. Jillian began a career in flight controls as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland's Alfred Gessow Rotorcraft Center from August 2010 to November 2012. Jillian holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
