Szu-Chi (Sandy) Kuan is a Software Engineer at Supermicro since February 2022, previously serving as an intern at Cirrus Logic where a Python package for automated project configuration in PyCharm was developed. Sandy has a background as a Research Assistant at Penn State University, contributing to the integration of Amazon Echo with human intelligence while optimizing response latency and conversation quality. Sandy's prior experience at the Industrial Technology Research Institute includes roles as a Metrology Engineer and Project Manager, where a 3D simulation model for FinFET structures was established, as well as as an Industrial Marketing Data Analyst interpreting machine tool industry trends to advise the Taiwan government. Sandy's engineering career began with work on photovoltaic technologies to enhance energy efficiency. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University and additional advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and National Tsing Hua University.
