Eino Joas

Game Lead, Squad Busters at Supercell

Eino Joas has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Eino is currently serving as the Chief Game Lead at Supercell since November 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Game Lead for Clash of Clans from September 2017 to December 2021, and for Clash Royale from October 2020 to October 2021. Eino also worked as a Game Designer for Boom Beach from July 2016 to August 2017 at Supercell.

Before joining Supercell, Eino Joas co-founded Virtual Economists in September 2008. At Virtual Economists, they provided consulting and training services related to virtual economies for game developers, publishers, online communities, and virtual currency operators.

From August 2013 to June 2016, Eino Joas worked at YAGER as a Monetization Designer. Eino contributed to the design of core gameplay systems, UI/UX, customization systems, progression, and economy systems for the game Dreadnought. Eino also focused on backend systems, payment services, analytics, and store management during the live phases of the project.

Starting from March 2010 till June 2013, Eino Joas worked at CCP as an Economist and Game Designer. Eino developed monetization strategies, mechanics, and analytics for the game DUST 514. Eino was also responsible for game design, virtual economy design, economic balancing, and management.

Prior to that, Eino Joas was a member of the Advisory Board at Enemy Unknown AB from August 2009 to January 2010. Eino advised the company on monetization strategy for AvatarsUnited.com and was a minor shareholder when the company was acquired by Linden Lab (Second Life).

Eino Joas served as a Project Coordinator for Strategy & Experience Design at ITP (HSE) from January 2009 to October 2009. In this role, they managed and supervised digital media concept design projects for Finnish companies. Eino also participated in selling and negotiating these projects.

In 2008, Eino Joas worked as a Concept and User Interface Designer at ITP. Eino focused on strategic digital media design and user experience management during this course-based program. Eino successfully completed a project for Suunto Ltd.

Furthermore, Eino Joas gained experience as a Trainee at the Embassy of Finland, Tokyo from October 2007 to December 2007.

Eino Joas completed their education at Aalto University, School of Economics from 2004 to 2016. Eino earned a Master of Science degree in Economics during this time.
