Marja Hemmilä is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in atmospheric sciences and chemistry. Currently serving as a Customs Chemist at Finnish Customs since August 2023, Marja also holds the position of Chairperson of the Board at Hemmilän Kakku & Kone Oy since October 2018. Prior to these roles, Marja worked as an Expert in Chemical Testing at Eurofins Expert Services Oy and served in various research capacities at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, focusing on trace chemicals and environmental analysis. Marja's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Helsinki.
