Salla-Riina Hokkanen is a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Felm (Suomen Lähetysseura) since July 2019, specializing in Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. Previously, Salla-Riina managed Development Cooperation for Southern and Western Africa at the Embassy of Finland in Tunis from February 2016 to July 2019, where responsibilities included coordinating local cooperation funds and overseeing projects with the Tunisian civil society. Salla-Riina also acquired experience as an intern at the Permanent delegation of Finland to UNESCO and the Embassy of Finland in Paris, focusing on multilateral cooperation and reporting on French foreign policy, respectively. An experienced Activities Coordinator at Tampereen Kehitysvammaisten Tuki ry from September 2010 to July 2012, Salla-Riina holds a Master of Social Sciences in Political Science and Government from Tampere University and a Master 2 Recherche in African Studies from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
