Joshua Appelbaum is a medical student at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, with experience as an Anatomy Teaching Assistant at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Previous roles include working as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica, where responsibilities included assisting physicians in emergency rooms to enhance practice efficiency. Joshua has engaged in research at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine on the AIMP2 protein, has tutored students in chemistry and biology at the University of Vermont, and has shadowed various healthcare professionals. Joshua holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Vermont. Additional experiences include roles as a camp counselor and an intern at New York City Transit.
