Stephanie Claxton has extensive experience in academic administration and student support services, currently serving as Assistant Provost for Academic Student Services and Registrar at SUNY Potsdam since August 2012. In this role, Stephanie is responsible for overseeing student records and registration systems, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supervising multiple departments. Previously, Stephanie held various roles at Syracuse University, including Assistant Director of Student Athlete Support Services, where responsibilities included coordinating academic support for student-athletes and ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations. Stephanie's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hartwick College.
