Umar Farooq is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting. Currently serving as the Corporate Finance Manager at Blue Diamond Resorts since February 2021, Umar leads month-end reporting and analysis compliant with USALI. Previously, as Financial Controller at Bin Butti Group, Umar managed a team of senior accountants, overseeing full accounting cycles and IFRS-compliant financial statements. At Al Jaber Group, Umar acted as Group Accounting Manager, focusing on overall accounting functions and VAT implementation. Earlier career highlights include a role as Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, where Umar handled audits for various significant companies, and as Supervising Senior at Ernst & Young, supervising audit engagements and client deliverables.
