Andrew Cronin is an experienced energy analyst with a solid background in market analytics and decision support. Currently serving as an Energy Analyst at Sunwater since February 2023, Andrew previously held the position of Senior Trading Analyst at CS Energy from April 2018 to February 2023, where duties included coordinating workloads between regional Queensland and Brisbane. Andrew also held roles at Ergon Energy Queensland as Manager Market Analytics and Forecasting, leading teams to support trading and retail functions, and as Senior Market Analyst providing decision support for trading and energy risk. Earlier experience includes analytical and risk management positions at NRG Gladstone Operating Services and Tarong Energy, where Andrew reported on market-facing risks and conducted high-level analysis of the National Electricity Market. Andrew's educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Power Generation from QUT, a Diploma in Financial Services from AFMA, and an Honours degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southern Queensland.
