Christian Steinmetz is a research scientist with extensive experience in audio technology and generative AI, currently working at Suno since April 2024. Previously, Christian held positions at Tape It and Adobe, focusing on neural audio fingerprinting and differentiable signal processing, alongside internships at notable companies such as Facebook, Dolby Laboratories, and Bose Corporation. Christian's research has contributed to advancements in audio processing, including publishing work that won the Best Student Paper Award at WASPAA 2021. Christian holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Music from Queen Mary University of London, along with an MS in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Production Studies in the Performing Arts from Clemson University.
