Samuel Hill has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Samuel is currently working at Sunnova Energy as the Director of Business Development, a role they began in August 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Manager of Business Development at Sunnova Energy from August 2022 to August 2023. Before joining Sunnova Energy, Samuel worked at TMI Energy Solutions as a Commercial Solar Developer and Salesperson from July 2020 to August 2022. Samuel also worked as a Freelance Industry Consultant on a part-time basis from April 2021 to July 2022. Earlier in their career, Samuel held positions at EnergySage, Trinity Solar, Hopkinton NH School District, Moran Shipping Agency, Canal de Panamá, and Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Samuel Hill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in International Maritime Business from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in the years 2011 to 2015. In addition, they obtained various certifications related to financial modeling for solar PV projects, solar PV finance for non-profits, battery capacity, commercial solar PPA's, and commercial solar finance.
