Scott Besendorfer has extensive experience in finance and treasury management, currently serving as Director of Finance and Treasury at Sunlight Financial since August 2019, following roles as Senior Finance and Treasury Manager and Finance and Treasury Manager. Prior to Sunlight Financial, Scott held the position of Vice President Finance and Corporate Treasurer at Globecomm Systems Inc. from September 2017 to July 2019. At Canon USA, Scott was Manager of Finance from June 2012 to September 2017, where responsibilities included managing strategic projects and implementing a cash forecast module. Earlier experience includes serving as Treasury Manager at LeFrak from July 2007 to June 2012, focusing on cash inflows and outflows management and process improvement. Scott holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Long Island University (1999 - 2001) and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History from the State University of New York at Albany (1991 - 1993).
