Dean Richmond has a diverse work experience in the information technology field. Dean most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at Sunday River Skiway since December 2019. Prior to that, Dean worked at Bank of America for a significant period of time, holding various roles. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Vice President and served as an Integration Program Lead, overseeing the transformation of the enterprise infrastructure. This resulted in a significant reduction in technology spend and the elimination of midrange servers. Dean also worked as an IT Service Delivery Manager, responsible for the delivery of technology services to Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management. During this time, they successfully assessed and streamlined technology services, leading to a $100 million annual reduction in technology spend. Dean began their career at Bank of America as a Senior Technical Consultant, providing expertise and consulting services to China Construction Bank. Dean developed a Five Year Technology Strategy and Implementation Roadmap, resulting in improved capabilities and operational efficiency for the bank. Additionally, they served as an IT Service Delivery Manager, overseeing the alignment of technology and operations objectives for the global organization. Dean executed technology plans to support regulatory standards and managed a Global Service Delivery Team, implementing consistent technology products and services across different regions.
Dean Richmond attended the University of Maine from 1981 to 1984, where they pursued a degree in Business. Dean went on to further their education at the University of Maine from 1983 to 1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business and Technology. In addition to their formal education, Dean also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, although the specific year and month of obtaining this certification are unknown.
