Kirk Goobie has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with Suncor Energy since December 2008, where roles have included General Manager for both Terra Nova Life Of Field and Turnaround Oil Sands, overseeing projects valued at over $400 million. Previous positions within Suncor also include General Manager of Mackay River Operations, Director of Operations for the Mackay River SAGD facility, Operations Manager for the Firebag Project, and Maintenance & Commissioning Manager for Firebag Stages 1-4. Prior experience includes serving as Site Manager for Asset Management at FT Services. Kirk Goobie studied at Dietrac Technical Institute from 2000 to 2002 and is currently pursuing education at Harvard Business School from 2017 to the present.
