Joaquin De Rojas currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director, Ophthalmic Surgeon, and Director of Refractive Surgery at Center For Sight, with tenure beginning in September 2019. In addition, Joaquin is involved in various consulting roles with ZEISS Medical Technology, Johnson & Johnson Vision, and Oculus Biologics since 2022, and serves as the Head of Workflow Integration at Advanced Euclidean Solutions, focusing on artificial intelligence in intraocular lens formulas. As an Advisory Board Member for Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research, Inc. since July 2021, Joaquin contributes to advancements in the field. Educational credentials include a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a residency in Ophthalmology from Columbia University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Neuroscience from Boston College.
