Amit Maity is an experienced professional in demand planning and project management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Manager of Demand Planning and Project Management & Analytics at Sun Pharmaceuticals since June 2020, Amit provides analytical support to executives and manufacturing sites globally, leads end-to-end project execution, formulates global KPI metrics, and oversees dashboard creation for performance visibility. Prior to this, Amit worked as an Analyst in Technical Analytics at Novartis from August 2017 to June 2020, transforming raw data into actionable insights and developing reporting frameworks for supply chain decisions. Amit's career began with a short stint as a Management Intern at GSK, focusing on multi-channel marketing for CNS brands. Amit holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute Of Engineering and Technology.
