Ruel Nopal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in DevOps, engineering, and security across various organizations. Currently serving as a DevSecOps Coach at Sun Life since May 2024, Ruel leads training sessions to promote DevOps methodologies and best practices. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Engineering and Security at Prosperna, where Ruel oversaw software development and cloud architecture, and as a DevSecOps Associate Manager at Accenture. Ruel has also contributed as a Mobile Application Developer and IT Consultant at Cleeneco and LookingFour, alongside project management and DevOps roles at BigBenta Corporation. As a founder of RakethostPH, Ruel established a DevOps and Cloud Hosting Solutions company for MSMEs. Ruel's early career included positions at Virlanie Foundation Inc., Toyota Shaw Group, and Protos EzyVA Pampanga Inc. Ruel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Leyte State University.
